Williams 1.3 seconds slower than 2017!

Since last years Bahrain Grand Prix, Williams have lost 1.3 seconds of pace
In 2017, Felipe Massa started 8th on the grid in Bahrain, but this year the highest place Williams in Bahrain is Massa's replacement Sergey Sirotkin who will start the race in 18th place. Sirotkin's teammate Lance Stroll will start in last place on the grid.
Williams chief technical officer attempted to explain this fall, saying:
“We weren’t quick enough today for a number of reasons,
“Some of them we understand, some of them we don’t.”
In comparison to Williams, every other team has improved their pace over the last 6 months, with Mercedes making the least progress finding 0.6 seconds. Surprisingly the team which improved the most was McLaren, despite both of their drivers not making it to Q3 and both of them being out-qualified by the Toro Rosso's
