Toto Wolff says his junior driver
Esteban Ocon might become a test driver for all three
Mercedes teams next season. The three jobs include simulation work for Mercedes,
Force India and
Williams as it looks more and more likely that the Frenchman won't have a seat next season.
Robert Kubica looks to be in pole position for the second Williams seat, partnering with George Russell. Because of this, Ocon will miss out on all available seats.
The Mercedes boss has vowed to keep the 22-year-old active in racing and ensures the gap will only last one season.
“He could be a test driver for us, Force India and maybe Williams. And he will sit a lot in the simulator," Mercedes motorsport boss Wolff told Auto Motor und Sport.
