De Vries to Williams after all? 'Albon to Alfa Romeo, De Vries to Williams'

Less than 24 hours after the news that De Vries would sign for Alfa Romeo, that same news is contradicted by other sources. According to them he would not go to Alfa Romeo but to Williams.

De Vries will go to Williams in 2022 after all?

That is the opinion of the French Canal+, which also suggested earlier that Valtteri Bottas would go to Alfa Romeo. The medium reports that behind the scenes there is already more known about the deal.

There have been rumours for some time that De Vries and Albon are competing for a seat at Williams, something that Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has also been involved in. De Vries would therefore be a logical decision, as he belongs to the Mercedes family.
