According to reports in Italy,
F1i and
ScuderiaFans.com, Mattia Binotto has forced a shake-up of crews inside the
Scuderia garage.
Reports suggest that
Sebastian Vettel's entire team have moved across where they'll work with new recruit
Charles Leclerc. The man from Monaco is now expected to have senior performance engineer Jock Clear in his workforce.
Clear has been guiding many drivers to world championships in the past. He's worked with Jacques Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.
However, Vettel is expected to retain race engineer Riccardo Adamo, a man who has been on the end of his radio waves since 2015.
The race crew swap isn't a rare occurrence. Mercedes performed the trick when both Rosberg and Hamilton were fighting hard for the drivers' championship. Though it makes things interesting, particularly regarding Clear.
Ferrari makes it clear that Leclerc is their man for the long-term and they're already giving him boosts like this. But how will it affect Vettel?
