Reports coming out of Spain are suggesting
Honda's next upgrade for
Red Bull will be able to match the title-winning power of
Mercedes.
Red Bull are currently third in the Constructors' Championship and
Max Verstappen sits in third in the Drivers' equivalent. It is the Bull's first season with Honda as their engine supplier.
Christian Horner recently said he expects an upgrade in Monza or Spa. For much of the season the Honda engine has failed to match the power of
Ferrari and Mercedes, but reports in Spain are suggesting Honda's next upgrade could be able to match the Silver Arrows for power.
The report in AS reads: “It is a figure that Honda believes will meet one of its great wishes — reaching the performance of the (Mercedes) engine that is made in Brixworth."
