I always have a reason to talk down Max. You might not know, or realise what that reason is, but there always is one. Crashgate had nothing to do with Hamilton or McLaren. Some lost out more than others, but it was nothing but Renaults fault and at the time it happened, it had immediate effect on the championship. Massa has more effect when he left the pit lane with the fuel hose attached in a race he also spun in.04-04-2025 20:51

Indeed. They are blaming the guy who left. Pathetic really.04-04-2025 20:49

Marko is no liar is he? He's always truthful, just like Horner. Even when they both disagree with each other, neither are lying. They're experts and we have to believe all experts no matter what. I know, I've been told many times.04-04-2025 16:51

I think the race will show otherwise. Suzuka has always been a strong track for Red Bull. If they can't perform here, then... well they might need to get some work done. Not sure why Max's feedback hasn't brought them to the front yet. I mean this has been going on since Spain last year. 17GP's ago. Dont panic just yet. If Max doesn't win in Japan and lets say he's 5th, you can always then pretend RB are the 5th best team. That's how the system works, right? It allows for full praise of Max no matter where he finishes.04-04-2025 13:04

It started last year after the inertial braking system was brought up again by the FIA after suspicions fell. Since then RB have been 2nd class citizens, so to speak. Newey leaving... can't be that. RB fans have already denied this and they are never wrong.04-04-2025 13:01

Not 4th, 2nd or 3rd. Just that other drivers are driving better than Max is and putting their cars in front.04-04-2025 12:59

Well as long as Verstappen was right, that's all that matters :) Never mind 'Long runs show Red Bull has work to do'... no, not good enough.. Max HAS to be proven right also. :)04-04-2025 12:59

I did say this at the time. Newey has nothing to do with hiring and firing. Oh well. :)04-04-2025 12:57

You are so full of BS Joost. We know Max has kept his 2021 title because the very people who can take it off him are the one's who were guilty in gifting in to him in the first place. You're just completely in denial if you cannot understand that Lewis was the 2021 champion had Masi followed the rules. If you follow that through objectively, instead of your Max-protection mode which you are constantly in, then you'd understand that. But I guess to admit that, you'd need to understand the rules and you clearly don't. There is no assumptions to be made. It's very clear. This has nothing to do with dealing with AD'21. It's simply pointing out facts that Max fans are unable to, or afraid to admit. Masi had two options open to him legally (3 if you count a red flag which never happened anyway). One was to leave the lapped cars in place (what he was going to do until Wheatley called him and influenced his decisions). Then we would have 1 lap of racing but Max would need to pass 5 cars before he could think about trying to catch and pass Lewis, by which time Lewis is so far up the road, it wouldn't have been possible - Lewis champion. Option 2, unlap the cars like an idiot on lap 57, and according to the rules, the SC has to pit on the following lap, which means a SC finish - Lewis champion. So, as I said. Had Masi objeyed the SC rules and not disobeyed them twice Lewis would have been the rightful champion. Look where Max was on track at the start of lap 57. Way back in the formation. Even if Masi only broke 1 rule and not 2, Lewis would still have been champion. The race was rigged to gift it to Max because Max was incapable of beating Lewis on merit in Abu Dhabi. Any narrative other than that is just denial of those facts. And the only reason you have to deny them is because you don't have the integrity or credibility that you think you do.04-04-2025 12:53

Hey trouble-maker. You got one thing wrong in your back patting assessment. His post wasn't perfectly normal. It was semi-trolling and thus my reply was apt. Also you replied to me, not Joost. Old age?04-04-2025 12:41
