Hamilton has proven he was a fast driver with 103 victories. So you do make yourself look stupid. Only fast cars win races. We don't see Haas or QM coming from 14th on the grid and winning by 10 seconds. Why? Because they have not got a fast car. So when Max wins it's his car not his driving, same with Hamilton, Schumacher and Vettel. Perez hasn't even got the same set up as max and is beaten by mercedes and Ferrari even McLaren. Yet when the car was set up for Perez he won and got many second places. Horner himself has already stated this. But sometimes people like yourself can't understand how F1 works. And if you did, then you would know that the fastest cars can come from the back of the grid and win. While the slowest car can't. Even the slower cars can't win from the front of the grid. Ferrari and mercedes have already shown that they are no match for the rocket ship of Verstappens. We can't say it's his driving, after all he won a few races prior to last year when his car came good. So if you say it's the driver, what was he doing for 5 years when the likes of Hamilton, Vettel, Alonso and Schumacher were all winning tutors in as little as a couple if years? Your theory proves that Verstappen is slow at learning and had to take years more than previous champions to win one. So that would make him a lesser driver than past champions20-09-2022 14:02

Pole position does not mean it's the fastest car. It does for 1 lap. Ferrari and mercedes proved that. Yet Ferrari have won very little because the rocket ship of Redbull is miles faster in race pace. Even mercedes have better race pace than Ferrari. Yet when mercedes took 19 poles they did not win every race. Why? Because the other contenders like Ferrari, McLaren and Redbull also had race pace but not over 1 lap. Hamilton has been proven that over 1 lap at that time mercedes were quick. Yet over race distance they were beaten many times from pole. Verstappens rocket ship has proven that it can also do a flying lap and have race pace. Perez in the other hand has a car that is not set up for him and even managed to get a pole. Anyone with common sense and knowledge of F1 knows that at the moment there is only 1 car to beat and that's Verstappens car. The car is miles faster in a race and set up the way Max drives. Coming from 14th, 10th and 7th and still been the bookies favourite where you place a £1 bet you get £1.35 back. Never had Hamilton, Vettel or Schumacher ever been favourite when they are this far back in the grid. And the rest of the drivers have said so themselves that Max has a superior car. Just like Rosberg, Hamilton, Schumacher and Bottas have had. Yet Bottas hadn't the courage to give it all. While Perez hasn't the car nor the backing of his team. Only people that seem to believe that it's Max and Max's driving alone that is making him win is his crazy fans. The same Max couldn't win anything until he got the car that is now a rocketship. If Russel, Sainz, leclerc and any other driver can predict that max will be in front in 10 laps when he starts 14tg on the grid. What does that tell you and I ? Sure Liverpool should have won 4 trophies last season they were the best. But they didn't. Nothing to do with deserving to win. You have to actually win it. And considering both Hamilton and Verstappen were on equal points going into the last race. I believe both deserved to win. After all both were on equal points so both performances were the same. And if we take Spa race out of contention, after all it was wet and pole sitter just followed the safety car around and got a win after a lap. That's not what you would call deserved to win, is it? It's all about winning races and Hamilton had it in the bag until human error took it away. A decent sports person would actually not have taken the trophy after knowing Hamilton was cheated. Then again they say be a sportsman and games man's ship etc. We all know that that's fake. Sports is full of cheats.15-09-2022 12:35

For years other fans have said without the car Lewis would have not been champion. He was also allowed to race against Rosberg, Bottas, button and Alonso. Now that the truth comes out about Verstappen only winning because of the car. His fans don't like what they described Lewis of doing. Why is it different for Verstappen? We seen that prior to last year he won a handful of races in the same team. So we all know it's the car that makes champions. Hamilton, Schumacher, Vettel have already proven that. And now Verstappen after all he has won more races in 2 seasons than he won in the previous 5 seasons. Can't be the driver can it? It's the car. And wh n Verstappen has the full support of the team and his teammates are 2 Nd best of course he will always have the faster car between him and Perez. The car is set up for max not Perez. Similar to Ricardo and Norris. And I have heard many of you say why don't they set it up for both Ricardo and Norris. Yet won't say it for max and Perez. We see now that Lewis is not winning because the car is average and he is only getting podiums because Ferrari are useless. And no they are not the fastest car as some have tried to indicate. The simple fact is if Max, Lewis, Schumacher, Vettel did not have the cars and with the exception of Lewis. The rest had the full backing of the team and made #1 from the start. They would have won nothing. Horner himself stated there is only room for 1 alpha male in his team's. So clearly an indication that Max is and Vettel was. I see comments on here about fake champ George said so and George is better. So in the end your all doing what you accuse Hamilton of doing. And can you honestly say that Perez is allowed to race Max? Can you honestly say that max is faster because Perez is slower? Or is it because the car set up is different. If it's because Perez is slower, then you also prove the point that Verstappen does or won't have a driver that can challenge him. And the alpha male is true. Can you honestly say that without that rocket ship that came from 14th and 10 th on the grid to win is not the best and fastest car out there.? And if max was in a Haas would he have done that? Well the answer is no. Same with Hamilton he did it from 14th and 10tg and has won 41 races not from pole position.( That fact I assume is correct I read it on sky F1). Do you think that without the car Hamilton would have won that? You do call him a fake champion because of the car, and now that Max has the car it's different for you to even think like that now, why? You said it about Hamilton in the same circumstances as Verstappen is now. The same people said d Bottas was no match for Hamilton are now saying Perez is no match for Verstappen. Yet earlier in the year you said that Perez is as fast as Max. And could be a threat. Now that his car is set up against Perez he is useless. Perez can't even come from 4th and win. Why? Because he is no match for Verstappen and the car set up. He is actually no match for Russel who has taken him a few times this season. We have even seen in Sunday where Russel got team priority over Hamilton, yet you all day Hamilton is favoured. Again proved wrong. So what Hamilton is saying about Verstappen you have said it about him. Yet when it's about your driver or team you dislike it. In the end it's all true so cry all you want. Without a rocket ship drivers can't win. The same applies to Verstappen as it does to Hamilton when it comes to fast cars. Max may win a few more titles. But he won't do it without a rocket ship. And he won't have a team mate that is allowed to challenge him. Unlike Hamilton who had to prove he was better than Rosberg who beat him one year and became champion. Redbull and Verstappen won't allow a driver to interfere with Max just like they did with Vettel. It may be hard for you to take in, but that's how it is in F1 fast cars win races and then accumulate enough to become champion. If you believe it's the driver then dream on. He may win, but if all on an even keel in the team then any of the 2 drivers should win. And as Hamilton,and Russel have shown that without the car the best they can do is finish if lucky enough n a podium. Haas , Aston Martin, alpine and the rest have shown you win nothing without the rocket. This season on the podium it's all been mercedes, Ferrari and Redbull. With one exception of Norris in a McLaren. Now why can't the rest challenge. Because we have 3 main teams that in order of Redbull they are rocket ships, Ferrari fast but no rocket and mercedes who are consistent. And the rest have no chance. And in the category of Ferrari, Merc and Redbull. Only Redbull have the chance because of that rocket ship.06-09-2022 11:30

Just shows that Redbull have ruined checo. He is even congratulating Verstappen when he knows that his team have made him a driver to protect Verstappen. Sadly Perez will win nothing unless Max allows him to do this. And we all know they he won't. A team that has one alpha male as Horner stated won't allow the other to win anything. And they still claim he is allowed to race each other. Yet car is set up for Verstappen. Thank goodness Ricardo had the decency to leave that team.05-09-2022 11:00

You really mean if you put him in the fastest racing car. This and last season Redbull are a rocket ship. Previous seasons Max did very little and was no threat to Hamilton. So in the fastest car is the only way he wins and becomes a monster. In an ordinary car he is a tame driver who wins very little, just like Hamilton is at present. And it's not as if his team mate is a great driver. Russel is even showing Perez up and Norris has passed him a few times. If not for VSC and safety car. Then mercedes may even have had a 1-2 yesterday. So the monster may beat a second rate driver in a car that is set up for Verstappen and a team that is fully committed to Verstappen. But in an even keel with Ferrari and mercedes he wouldn't be that monster. After all he never was until he got a rocket ship. While the rest have a fast car and his team mate has a lesser than fast car.05-09-2022 11:10

As Hamilton said himself passion made him blow a fuse. He did apologise after it. But we also see Verstappen doing the same with his team when he is not getting his own way. Again passion. As long as the teams and drivers know that it's just spilt milk and everything will be ok after it.05-09-2022 11:03

Yesterday was unlucky along with Hungary. Unfortunately when safety cars come out it ruins a race or even a championship. It seems Hamilton has no luck when safety cars come out. At least yesterday they cleared all lapped drivers and did one more lap after that under safety car.05-09-2022 11:05

So he is driving the fastest car on the grid by miles. Just like Alonso stated that Hamilton can only drive while in front. Yet Hamilton won many races not been in front. Max has a rocket ship now and can pass any car without bother. Even his team mates car is slower. So he will drive even better like Lewis, Vettel, Alonso, Schumacher, Hill and Mansel did when they had a rocket ship. He and they seen no reason to drive irrational like Verstappen did when he caused 29 crashes. Yet I hear his fans claim it's his driving that makes him go faster. What utter rubbish. We seen how he struggled at Silverstone when the car was less than ordinary and when russel kept him behind easily when his DRS didn't work. The same person couldn't get those cars to go any better. So clearly a rocket ship is needed for some to drive better and win a world champion.01-09-2022 15:17

What agressive driving? He has not been charged over any incidents this season. All cleared by FIA. So I didn't nt actually know where you get this from unless it's all in your head. It was Verstappen that was charged and lost seconds and has 7 penalties on his licence not Lewis who has none. Sadly what you state has no fact to it.01-09-2022 15:37
