Mercedes has been noted from breaking the curfew on the night of 3 April. The team were present in their garage after hours, when they were not supposed to be. The FIA has released a Technical Delegate’s Report on the subject.

Filed at 7:55 AM local time in Suzuka, Japan, a Technical Delegate’s Report was submitted by Jo Bauer to the Stewards regarding the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.

The first part of the report reads "Last night team personnel of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, who are associated with the operation of the car, were within the confines of the circuit during the fourteen (14) hour period which commenced at 17:30 on 03 April, eighteen (18) hours before the scheduled start time of P1 and ends four (4) hours before the scheduled start time of P1 at 07:30 on 04 April."

Luckily for Mercedes, there will be no repurcussions to breaking the curfew at this time. All teams are allowed three individual exceptions as stated in the second half of the document.

"This was the first of the three (3) individual exceptions permitted for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team during the 2025 Formula One Championship season and therefore no action should be taken."
