I am not certain I want to take anything that JPM says as the best analysis. Yes, watching Oscar Piastri try to consistently beat Land Norris will be interesting. Lando and the team have their own mistakes to avoid this year. But Max Verstappen and Red bull still have something to say about who wins races and titles! Then we have possibly an improved car at Ferrari and the combination of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton there. I honestly think Ferrari could win the WCC in 2025 and Charles Leclerc could get his first WDC.03-02-2025 17:37

Hamilton is a slim possibility for the pole, but I still expect Max and RBR to crank it up in quali! It would be a nightmare if Max is behind both Mercedes drivers and Alonso at the start! That would be a real fight. I would love to see it, but I am not expecting it to happen.01-03-2024 02:37

LM does not want to lose the cash cows in the Middle East. So those are secure. It would be INSANE to lose the British GP. Belgium is not as secure. I wish Portimao was on the schedule. If I were from Mercedes corporate, I would tell Toto to offer Hamilton something in the range of $20 million to $25 million per year, no bonuses. The one year plus an option to be taken up by Mercedes. After 2024, some other drivers could be available who will not cry and demand so much.
