Perhaps you didn’t watch yesterday’s sprint race when he took back the lead from Lando without DRS whilst Lando was driving with DRS on ? need I say more about going wheel to wheel?30-06-2024 17:39

Come on! Lando was driving with complete disregard for the track limits just to stay within Max’s DRS, hence the 5s time penalty which he is going to serve the upcoming race weekend. Why was Lando so aggressive? Did he think it was the last race of his life or a championship decider? Even if he had overtaken Max, he was going to concede position for repeated track violations so why play so aggressive?30-06-2024 17:49

No they are not sandbagging. Last season they gave up qualifying in favour of race pace but this season others have caught up and RBR’s margins are shrinking. This in no way spells a doom & gloom scenario but the luxury they’ve had previously is not there anymore, unless they get on top of problematic suspension stiffness (not perfectly riding the kerbs and bumps) which is slowing them down.22-06-2024 19:34

On 2 occasions I noticed, you wrote your own reply and put me on ignore so I couldn’t reply to your comment. BTW I never troll someone on purpose and if you felt as such, my apologies. I do like good conversations but sometimes comments get nasty when others quote twisted facts and rebuttal has to be given the same way. “And with Newey talking of seeing the end of road for him in F1.... enjoy it while it lasts.“ If Neway’s cars possessed some heavenly magic, Redbull might have won all the championships from the year he joined them onward. Neway isn’t called the God of aero for no reasons. The most efficient aero is useless when you are low on power. Renault engine was no match for Mercedes so even if they had Max since 2016 they weren’t able to compete with Mercedes on regular basis. Vital part of equation aero+driver+power had been missing and only when Honda joined, the results started to get better and better. Right now they have got all 3 ingredients30-06-2023 21:48
