P4, P5 & P7 like you pointed out. Yet he's still tied on points with the other guy from Energy drink giant. What does that tell you? Perhaps, if it wasn't for those finishes outside podium, I'm pretty sure we would have had 8th WDC already and probably Russell would have been in W12 for the few races left11-12-2021 11:00

No. It's one of the new engines in the pool. Merc before now knew the gains with a new Engine unit and had to take advantage of it by stockpiling a few. Of course it's the blind side of the rules but it's what it is. Most likely, they will deploy the one used in Sao Paulo called 'spicy engine'. It looks like Merc have amazing Chefs at the factory in Brixworth24-11-2021 14:08

I'm always amazed how these guy keep spewing hypocrisy about WDC. If it was easy winning multiple WDC then Schumacher's record would have been broken by the Vettels and Alonsos of this era. The Dutch guy now say when he wins one then that's probably it. No, that's because it takes being GOAT like Lewis, to perform at such an incredible level with the same motivation for so many years. Until Max equal Lewis records, then he's no match to Lewis. Look around, there are a number of 1s, 2s, ...4 WDC winners but there are only 2 7WDC and potentially only 1 8WDC winner to come. This is no mean feat. It's takes more than driving the quickest car but sheer talent, right decision, sound knowledge and dedication to achieve this.
