So interesting that in 2021, the red bull narrative was that a “championship is won over the course of a season” and then in 2022, Checo lost 2nd place in the last race because of Hamilton. Absolutely nothing to do with team orders over the course of the season and internal team politics of course. Just blame someone else and no one better than their favourite target, Lewis Hamilton/Mercedes. I feel so bad for Checo and Max as a neutral. Marko and Horner are unbearable and they’re such appalling examples of leadership for a young driver with so much to learn like Max. No accountability for their own mistakes and always deflect and blame anyone else.Absolutely toxic and objectively have generated this negativity surrounding F1 over the last couple years. Max could be a great champion and possibly the GOAT but hard to see how he will be a complete champion surrounded by the likes of those two. “Attack is the best form of defence” as Horner says every chance he gets and it’s win at all costs while they burn the paddock down along the way.21-11-2022 20:49
