It is time to pull the plug on that team. It has been more than eight years since Renault came back and Cyril Abiteboul (fired) and Carlos Ghosn (fired, arrested, hid in a box) promised that Renault would soon be back winning races. The whole project has been an unending series of weird embarrassments, messy infighting and revolving-door leadership. This can't be helping them sell road cars.02-08-2024 18:20

Piastri did not "sink through the ice in Miami." (This was a miserable metaphor.) Carlos was trying to overtake Oscar and lost the rear, collecting Oscar's front wing and a five second penalty in the process. This sent Oscar to the pits for a new wing, and back to the back of the pack, through no fault of his own. Still, he remains sixth in the WDC (ahead of both Mercs and Alonso), and is one of the few drivers to beat Max in a sprint race. So, he's doing okay.07-05-2024 21:53

Red Bull needs to drop those losers. Ford's running to the media and leaking letters last week was just a preview of what kind of "partner" they plan to be.28-02-2024 20:56

I see Ricciardo and Perez and roughly equivalent. Both in the waning third of their careers, with flashes of greatness and a lot of uneven performances and weird lapses. Just let them flip a coin before each race weekend to see who drives the RB and who drives the AT.31-10-2023 20:45

And if Massa had actually won in Singapore (instead of making a clownish hash of his race) I'm sure he would be running to the FIA now and insisting they take away his points, because of his overpowering sense of justice and fairness.26-10-2023 22:28

"Logan has very clear targets on what he has to hit before the end of the season." The list includes Yuki's font wing, the wall at turn 11 in Las Vegas, a seagull, and the back of a Haas.28-09-2023 18:12

It's insane that Drugovich utterly romped through F2, beating Sargeant, Lawson and Pourchaire by more than 100 points, but found no pathway to an F1 drive.19-09-2023 17:12

The whole point of RBR is to help sell overpriced sugary drink to the entire planet. (You know they sold more than ELEVEN BILLION cans of RB last year?) So you can't really have some loose cannon RB employee go on TV and slag off all of Latin America, can you? There's like 700 million people down there. RB is fighting Monster for every percentage of market share (basically tied in Mexico at 35% each); there is no room at for anyone at RB to do anything stupid. It's not "pandering," it's just marketing.11-09-2023 23:16
