If the Merc (it's a big if) is as fast as the RB and Ferrari this season then Max and Lewis will just keep taking each other out and ruining their own seasons. Sergio hasn't got enough in him. Neither has Carlos.... So it could be a Leclerc v Russell battle for the Championship title this season.... That would be a fantastic season I'd like to see..21-01-2023 06:06

Perfect.... Max gets 30 secs down the road. He can stop off and "have a nice cup of tea" and let the other guys catch up to him. Seriously though, next time Max get 'forced' off the track and is unable to continue at least he knows there's a sh*t hot new venue to chill out at and dream about 3 WDC's...05-01-2023 10:38

To be honest I can't argue there ICE. I think that Russell is better than Perez, Carlos and if/when he beats Lewis this season he's proved that he's better than Lewis (Lewis needs a win from somewhere) I truely think that he's as good as Charles and Max (but needs experience at the front of the grid) in the same car but the Merc isn't there at the moment..07-01-2023 15:55

The Merc package finished strong last season, ever since the ride height was altered and they capitalised despite not having the strongest engine out there they did very well. Reliability was a strong point too.... I so hope they start in amongst the leaders. Their reputation is at stake. Air-pod fiasco, weaker engine, PU.... Never mind strategy and slower pit-stops. This needs to be their best season for the last ten years.... A mountain to climb they have...05-01-2023 11:24

Hamilton would have won in that car too..... I don't know about Perez though!28-12-2022 21:05

When someone says a car is developed to suit the needs of a certain driver it's always puzzled me. All cars have 4 wheels on the track, a pointy front and a big-ass wing on the back. Surely that suits both drivers and is perfectly equal. Its sounds like an excuse to me...10-12-2022 14:43

The new guy needs to get strategy sorted out correctly, using proper successful tactics and be adapting at lightning speed in a moment should the need arise...... Charles just needs to stay on the track and not crash.... His unforced errors let Ferrari down just as much.... Apart from that everything looks tip-top...10-12-2022 14:56

I've always like Sergio. He's an honest driver who will give his all at the level he's at. Charles has driven better, but has messed up a few times and been let down by Ferrari tactics more than a few times, and still beat Sergio fair and square. It wasn't Perez's time to get 2nd overall, could Albon, Gasly or Ricciardo manage to beat Charles... Sergio is RBR's equivalent to MB and Bottas..... Who has the best car or who deserves 2nd place. Charles was Ferrari's No1 driver and is worthy of 2nd position, but its points that matter...22-11-2022 03:17

Daniels getting paid handsomely by Maclaren next season to sit out... In fairness his skill level has withered somewhat over the last few years progressively. This will give him a great opportunity to get some quality surfing done, perhaps some presenting. I'd take Danny Ric over Teddy Krav or Marty B any day.... Top class grid-walks I bet.... Happy Aussie.... G'day mate ?22-11-2022 03:38

He ain't retiring.... Potential career earnings. 10 - 12 years at £40 million a year.... That's over half a Billion if he stays in it as long as Hamilton or Alonso... Its a team sport but some members get more than others.... Fame brings fortune... Always in F118-11-2022 04:44
