That statement is simply wrong. He went from F4 to FRECA before going to F2. FRECA cars, although not as fast as F3, are way closer performance wise to F3, than they are to F4 cars. So this jump really isn't anything super impressive, there were drivers that did this before.12-05-2024 01:36

Wikipedia articles should never be quoted as a source of information. That's not what Wikipedia is for. If you actually bothered clicking at that small [31] that you lazily left out when copy pasting, you would get to the apparent source of this claim on the official F2 site: https://www.fiaformula2.com/Latest/1k0YZW1CXClpWMF4X3HXN6/andrea-kimi-antonelli-promoted-to-formula-2-with-prema-racing-for-2024 And there is not a single mention of him jumping straight from F4 to F2, instead they mention all the intermediate racing series that he took part in. So the Wikipedia article is wrong too, which actually isn't that uncommon. But again Wikipedia is there to help start your research, it should NEVER be the research itself. The person who wrote it clearly though F4, F3, F2 were the only official FiA series, which is just incorrect on so many levels12-05-2024 13:38

Yes, the aero should be kept simple, and just tweaked every year, to counter any loopholes found by teams, so the dirty air problem doesn't get out of hand If they want to "innovate" with active systems, why not bring back active suspension, should fix the bouncing problem for good, and make the cars faster without disturbing wheel-to-wheel racing17-04-2024 22:03
