I would expect him to do just this: single out Verstappen to punish for a non-offense. Like stated in the stewards report, I might add: Russell had a clear view of Verstappen, was not on a fast lap but chose to speed up - and for that, Verstappen was punished. A joke.01-12-2024 09:21

To Hamilton's credit: Russell was helped by a tow from Albon, which might account for at least a part of the difference. And although a Verstappen fan, I'm happy it seems that Mercedes is back in the mix. Highest win-% in a single season to date is Alberto Ascari's: he won 6 out of 8 races in 1952, so 75%. If Verstappen wins one more race, he will beat that record after 71 years. Of course, that is only interesting for Wikipedia and nobody reads that anyway.31-10-2023 10:56
