Without doubt Russell will be at least on Hamiltons level with speed. But the difference is Lewis will be 37 and Russell isn't a rookie, he will be in his 4th season. What Lewis did to Alonso , he did as a real rookie (first season in F1) And Alonso was 26 and at the height of his career. So it shows how good Lewis was, and Fernando acknowledges that. Just 1 comment from me, the trolls don't need a cull just yet. I clicked on a link in my news feed and ended up here by mistake. Nice to see Alonso's comments shit on all the haters opinions lol pmsl.30-09-2021 11:49

But things had changed as Vish said, the 3 races prior to Silverstone, Max qualified fastest. Then Mercedes updated their car and since then Lewis has qualified fastest.22-08-2021 21:11

Who leads the championship? Who drives more aggressive? Answer 1 is Lewis Hamilton. Answer 2 is Max Verstappen. I haven't done any maths, I am referring to the Championship standings. Who put your nose out of joint?21-08-2021 21:59

Well said JPM. Max has been hunted, and so far his aggressive driving style has cost him the championshp lead.21-08-2021 10:38

Not as bad as Monaco, but not as easy as Hungary. There is a small hope that with the added banking and hopefully a very long DRS zone we may get some overtaking. It all comes down to how big the DRS zone is.21-08-2021 10:30

No, I have just taken my information from other series that are easier to overtake than in F1, and the other series all struggle. Also Sim racing too, its almost impossible to pass cleanly.21-08-2021 10:31

I think the update package brought to Silverstone has put Mercedes just ahead. There are also rumours of another update coming for Zandvoort. How much more time will RedBull spend developing the RB16B? They can't compromise the RB17 too much surely or do they believe this is their 1 and only real chance?13-08-2021 19:16

"With a total of seven points, he therefore costs Williams over £80.000 per point" They do realise 3 of those 7 points were scored in a Mercedes and not a Williams surely ? So its 4 points in 3 years which then works out at £200,000 per point using their maths. Even then , I thought I read George was on $1millon a year. So that changes the figures again. Who knows, but 1 ting I do know is , he only scored 4 points in a Williams, not 7.13-08-2021 16:29
