Thought Gerhardt would have been a bit more thoughtful than that. 2026 may change the technology matrix and have red bull in the mid-field once again. Ford? Or does he predict Max finding a way into another team? Maybe as a replacement for Fernando or SLewis? Pity that Max is a fantastic driver, but due to his father, he is not a sportsman or an embassador for the sport. He needs to have a very well pre-agreed strategy for a team-jump if Berger's prediction is to come true.31-05-2023 20:47

Surely Nikita HasAspin should be treated equally..... AND SHOULD BE DOING HIS SERVICE ON THE FRONT LINES in the same way his fellow countrymen of similar age have been "mobilised".24-01-2023 11:08

Hopefully Lando and Oscar can build a relationship like Carlando was, and compete like well behaved pitbulls on the circuit, but work and play well as team mates. It's a big ask, but Lando has done it before.22-09-2022 15:22

Looking to the future and accepting that NDV won't immediately land in a potential championship winning car, seems like he should, like George Russell, be looking for the stepping stone to a front running car. Is that Alpine? Not convinced. But, Hamilton and Perez seats may be vacated or available within a year or 2. RB is a tough gig for drivers that don't immediately deliver on the capability of the car. Merc may be slightly more suited. Who knows when Slewis will call it a day, but the seat beside George looks to have the optimum risk/reward possibilities.22-09-2022 15:00

And maybe Toto bought Porsche shares on spec, and Christian has cost him €€€ ?20-09-2022 14:08

Don't you just love the Mind-Games that some team Principals play? Even a slight dig is seen as an opportunity to weaken or stress the opponent. It all just adds to the wider entertainment factor of F1, even when it's a load of old rubbish. Maybe Porsche could bring their extensive F1 experience to Dorilton Capital and with a Porsche powerplant and a fixed car, they could earn respect.20-09-2022 13:58

There will be no easy or simple resolution to this situation. But it's pretty embarrassing for Andretti in that they have a driver who Red Bull see as the next Verstappen, but he is in such a rubbish car that he can't win enough points in Indy car.... Or.... Has Marko simply got it wrong?11-09-2022 11:59

"it is now clear where his team's problems lie." Let's hope MCL actually do have some ideas as to how to make a front-running competitive car for 2023, but listening to some Zac comments over the last 6 months, he seems to think MCL need retooling and new wind tunnel before they get back to competing for wins....in 2025????05-09-2022 11:48

The Mercs may likely suffer cooling problems. It's going to be a hot one. Tyre Deg in that heat on Euro Asphalt could make for an interesting race.19-07-2022 22:44
