I once thought he would step into a top team to do LM24 after F1, like Hulkenberg and Alonso. But now it's beginning to look like he's building his own team to the extend of driving LM24, with his own car, maybe even backed by someone like Honda. That would be cool.24-12-2024 14:23

Again a misleading title... He just stated 3 times wind tunnel doesn't give you 3 times as fast aero development. But if it still gives you 2 times as fast aero development it's still a huge plus. So, he's downplaying the effect, but he's not totally denying the effect. There's a difference.23-12-2024 21:47

I'll give it one shot to tell my opinion without falling into bad arguments: I think he's absolutely on point comparing Vettel, Hamilton and Verstappen when things get tough. Verstappen is often praised for being mentally tough and that's really his strong suit. And he gets even better when he's made angry. Hamilton and Vettel on the other hand are prone to give up when things doesn't go perfect. But... (big but) he fails to mention Hamiltons strong points. He's a 7x WDC for a reason. He knows how to place the car perfectly, in a way others have to give up the corner or crash and when they crash they also get the blame. He really knows how to play the political game, being the nice guy. Verstappen is often a bit too honest he did things on purpose. That bites him. Oh, and this year it was very clear he has the advantage on George on race pace and tyre preservation. "Bono my tyres are gone." Fastest lap. In my opinion Hamilton is also one of the greats.23-12-2024 22:17

Or experimenting stuff because they're not that high up anyway. Lance gets the occasional win, the team gets usable data, Alonso doesn't care that much for his position because he's not in winning material. Everyone (sort of) happy.22-12-2024 18:23

That opinion is way besides the point. Like I said, Max is just there to enjoy the evening and doesn't care one bit about possible "signals". Everyone knows that. So, whatever you're saying and whatever George is trying to accomplish, it doesn't affect Max. That's just how he is, you can't chance that.20-12-2024 13:13
