I totally agree! I hold a MBA and had strong education on IFRS. even such long lasting global standard gived massive loopholes and room for interpretation. The F1 budget cap is now a bit older than obe year. So there must be massive room for interpretation. For example, the mechanic salary would be 10k per month but the F1 team pays only 5 under the budget cap and the rest is paid as "consultant" by a firm that is indirectly related to the F1 team. Or a team gets a product or service from a supplier for a very low price because the same company can be the supplier for the road cars. The make a loss on the F1 part but gain it back trough the other things they can do for them. How to you identify that? No chance for FIA! Therefore, lets cancel the budget cap!23-06-2023 20:31

Sorry but that is ridiculous! If the FIA does not manage to check this during the race, dont claim it weeks after. F1 has to stop changing results after the podium ceremony. Either they check before or the result remains. Same with Massa story06-11-2023 20:22
