Unfortunately, PG was right: 2025 is looking like a repeat of 2024. Except now they also have Williams to contend with so it looks like a point or two is the best they can expect in some races if they are lucky. Unless Alpine has some tricks up their sleeve. But why keep them up the sleeve? They were not evident at Melbourne. McLaren, RB, Mercedes, Ferrari, and even Williams and junior RB seem to be faster. That's 12 cars. 3 of those cars need to retire or suffer setbacks for Alpine to get into the top 10. I have to say I was shocked to hear Alpine is running the Renault engine again this year. Did they learn nothing in the last 2 seasons? Having said all that, PG put in a reliable drive and if he had pitted a lap or two later at the end (and not crashed), he might have had a better showing. Anyway, we rely on hope if there is nothing else to rely on.17-03-2025 17:54

I suppose it's possible Max is just so good that no other driver can match him, especially in this car. Gasly met the same fate, as did Albon. So it will be interesting to see how the next guy does. NEXT!21-12-2024 20:18

Pierre is the most underrated driver in F1 ... had he stayed at RB, he would have been on the podium regularly and that team would have won the Constructors' Championship. If he could finish no 10 in an Alpine, he could finish no 2 in a RB. Congratulations PG on a strong finish to the season, against all odds.09-12-2024 23:39

I feel bad for Carlos, they made such a big fuss about Hamilton, Sainz outdrove him most of the season and got no hero worship. I think Ferrari is going to discover they made a huge mistake.08-12-2024 22:23
