I wish Ralf Schumacher will stop commenting on anything motorsport-related with immediate effect. He's bit like Jacques Villeneuve back in the day, although Jacques was at least bit funny. And he was the World Champion.

To all wondering why he could even think of leaving the winning Red Bull: the team is imploding right now. In 2026 they will have (or won't have) a Ford engine. We don't know how is Max actually positioning himself in what seems as a very big internal conflict, although his father just said to the media that his boss should quit the team. A lot can happen. Ford can decide not to work with Red Bull. Horner may quit, or he may stay, but let's say, Newey can quit the team. So there is a lot of reasons why Max may actually start thinking about leaving Red Bull.

Or maybe Hakkinen?

How is he holding cards? Difference between him and Leclerc, Norris or Verstappen is only that the teams want to build around this guys and they are getting long contracts, while Ferrari is not sure if they want to make a new deal with Sainz. And it's not like his alternative is Red Bull or Mercedes, but Audi. We doesn't even know if they will not cancel their plans last minute. And with current shape of sport, even if they will fully enter the grid in 2026 or 2027, they probably won't be able to fight even for podiums until next decade, unless something crazy will happen to the regulations. Which probalby won't, as F1 is getting more and more about keeping status quo. And in 2030, Carlos will be around 35. It's really weird to say he's in the luxury situation.
