The Kvyat reference made by Norris was for the 2019 incident involving both rather than 2016. However, Stroll indeed has shown himself in a bad light more often than not, especially concerning his spatial awareness & focus on the road ahead, which is important even at crawling speeds & something all professional racing drivers should manage without a struggle. He should immediately owned up to his error on the radio instead of starting to blame or call anyone an idiot for his incompetence. Accepting responsibility & recognizing faults in actions should be easy for everyone. Perhaps Lawrence should decide he won't be a full-time driver in the team anymore, or Lance himself come to the realization that he isn't improving as a driver anymore, no matter how much experience he gains, & voluntarily stop racing in F1.25-04-2024 13:29

I wondered the same thing the first time he appeared in speculations, but partly dependent on whether his AR contract would end naturally at this year's end anyway. Also, you pointed out Ferrari's willingness, or even Alfa's, given they're a Ferrari-powered team.09-12-2022 16:45

Williams (or independent teams generally) doesn't exist to serve others, so Piastri would effectively have to be fully contracted. However, I can see him replacing Latifi for next season if Latifi keeps on losing to Albon.25-04-2022 13:23

Latifi-Piastri, if anything, although Latifi wouldn't move to Alpine, so he'd just lose out entirely. Therefore, not a swap per se, just a replacement move.25-04-2022 13:31
