Ridiculous article. I think the 20 second penalty was unnecessary but still they gave it. I like Russell but let's face it, he has form for this kind of stuff. Alonso just isn't the type of driver to purposely risk another's life. Can't we just let them race?24-03-2024 14:03

Lunacy!!!!!!! Aren't these the greatest drivers in the world? It's not like he slammed his brakes on is it? George Russell has form for this but instead let's penalise Alonso for Russell's error. A world championship is not won over 1 lap but over a season. Anyway, Mercedes had 2 clear chances to pit and change tyres that race but didn't, likely because they were scared of giving up track position to Max and that may mean Lewis wouldn't be able to overtake him. The right man won the championship. Max made the difference in the slower car.13-07-2023 13:15

I actually love this!! It's F1. Only in F1 does the race often continue after the chequered flag. And I love it. It's so unique. I understand the moaning but I just wouldn't have it any other way.03-07-2023 10:26

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't there 22 races this year not 1? Yes it went Verstappens way but several races this year went Hamilton's way too. If Hamilton won, would the Verstappen fans be saying that it was manipulated in Hungary by Bottas and Mercedes? Or Hamilton only win in Brazil 2008 because Glock conspired with the officials to hand him the win? Of course not. It's all ridiculous. Hamilton won in 2008, Verstappen won in 2021. Fair do's. I too loved this season. Having a good driver in the most dominant car in the history of F1 has been tedious. But to have a driver that wins in the second best car is great for the sport. I just hope Alpine gives Alonso a great car next year. To see Hamilton, Alonso and Verstappen all vying for the title would be epic!! For what it's worth, regardless of how it ended (brilliant TV you have to admit) Verstappen was the worthy Victor over the course of the season. Hamilton has to be happy cos he won in similar circumstances in 2008. In time he will see it is ok. You win some you lose some...21-12-2021 22:08
