Actually Doink, Max was destroyed by a car that is suddenly so fast again, that almost any F1 driver could win with it. Just like the last few years really. Not destroyed by a No.2 driver.14-10-2021 22:01

Toto loves Lewis and saw no reason to have him beaten by a better driver, while they had such an utterly dominant car. Now that they finally have competition, he is having to hire someone capable of beating Max. Can't rely on knocking him off the circuit at every Grand Prix.03-10-2021 20:28

There is an exception to every rule Anthony. In 2019 George R, with hardly any F1 experience did some tests for Merc. on Mondays following Grand Prix. Lewis was at his best on Saturday and secured pole. On Monday George squeezed into Ham's car, with Ham's settings, and was quicker than Lewis's pole time. This happened 2 tests in succession. Same car, same settings, same weather conditions, same circuit.03-10-2021 01:48

Agree Sihisbs. When he was being challenged by Massa he crashed into him 6 times in one season. The most dangerous was in the tunnel at Monaco. Singapore was quite dangerous also.20-09-2021 19:28

No Ronnie. Racing is when you leave room for your competitor and try to beat them by being faster. Not by forcing them over a sausage kerb. This applies to any race. Running, horse racing, swimming, cycling, anything. Lewis knows he is only an average driver, who was lucky to have a dominant car/team. Now he has competition from a faster driver his only answer is to cause collisions.18-09-2021 20:23

Agreed, when G.R. had just left F.2 with hardly any F.1 experience, he did some tests for Mercedes (2019) which took place on Monday following Grand Prix weekends. He was faster than Lewis's pole time set 2 days earlier in Hamilton's car with Ham's settings. (Twice)16-09-2021 17:53

Max left a car's width around turn 1, no collision. Lewis did NOT leave a car's width around turn 2, deciding instead to push Max over the kerb, collision occurs. Obvious.16-09-2021 16:36
