welll it COULD be that his understanding of grammar is better than yours since he is ANSWERING about something actually happened in the past tense. what would you expect him to say " he is doing a great job now in those years already past " ?07-02-2024 23:22

both staments are true and correct as written and are mutually exclusive. but the latter can certainly be construed as further clarification or emphasis07-02-2024 23:25

this is exactly right. if the car is " less good" it is the natural instinct to try to drive around the problems to get a result. that works for about 8 laps and then the tires are gone. but if you don't do that you look lazy and the results aren't any better. i think using up the car forces the team to solve that problem. you can't increase the limit if you never find out what the limits are... and thats what they pay him for... to find those limits.13-12-2023 08:01

well... he has to say that whether he believes it or not... the fact is that russell could go anywhere and make a difference but lewis is not in the same league anymore...11-12-2023 20:58

not to be a cynic but when was the last time anyone in either the fia OR f1 were held accountable for anything.? they act as if they are immune from sanction... because they are because the judges and juries are made up of the criminals themselves06-12-2023 17:48

your right about that. he is weak as a driver but he does have endless funding which for haas or williams would be a good thing. but why would he do that to himself? he will have failed in the most dominant chassis in history... imagine if he went to haas or williams and got stomped by hulkenberg or albon or wwhoever is in the williaqms these days. if he lose the rb ride which should have happend 2 years ago, he will disappear for sure. he brings no added value to the team except money and his ego would never survive that.13-08-2023 13:01

thats right.... you give a guy like him any car at all and he gets the most out of it... but then you give him a great car and its all over... he just wears it like a second skin and it simply becomes an extension of his will... unbeatable right now for sure. and its funny... it happens so seldom... 4 or 5 times in history... maybe fewer. it makes watching something special... almost a privilege26-07-2023 10:27

i understand what you are saying but simply don't understand WHY you are saying it. why is it the FIA'S fault that these guys can't keep the cars between the lines ? that is the sport. who can go the fastest BETWEEN the lines... not drive someplace where the track ISN'T. want to solve the problem ? put a guard rail there like monaco. there should be no encouragement to benefit to the driver for leaving the track. quite the opposite. there should be time lost or damage to the car. a price to be paid. let success go to the guys that CAN keep it between the lines...03-07-2023 12:18

you mean THE lewis hamilton the gold standard for ignoring track limits ? the lewis who PRACTICES cutting corners and chicanes so he can use that when he has to ? or was it the lewis hamilton who stood with his fingers in his ears today while the national anthem was played... a new low in dis respect even for him... you mean THAT lewis ?02-07-2023 21:23
