Verstappen makes world start in virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans
There would be plenty of time to make up positions in the 24-hour race, but Verstappen saw no reason to wait. He made a world-class start, choosing a smart line, which enabled him to grab the lead after the first few corners.
Verstappen shared Team Redline's number 1 car with Jeffrey Rietveld, Luke Browning and Diogo Pinto. In the number 2 car of the same team, we also see some familiar names: driving it are Felipe Drugovich and Felix Rosenqvist, among others. They started just ahead of Verstappen in third place, but fell back to P4 at the start.
