Verstappen explains Baku 2021 to Perez
In recent years, a new phenomenon has emerged on the internet called 'Maxsplaining'. This involves Verstappen himself using busy hand gestures to explain to his F1 colleagues how he experienced certain situations. In this case, it is about the restart at the 2021 Azerbaijan GP after Verstappen crashed into the wall due to a tyre blowout.
Talking to teammate Sergio Perez, the Dutchman tells how he experienced the late restart, during which Perez managed to retain the lead despite Lewis Hamilton getting away better. The latter went straight ahead in the first corner after forgetting to switch off his 'magic button'.
