Red Bull Racing has given fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look after the
Australian Grand Prix with a new episode of Behind The Charge. It was a disappointing weekend for the team due to
Max Verstappen's retirement, while
Sergio Perez finished on the podium with a P2.
Red Bull had hoped for a better result in Melbourne. On Saturday Verstappen was already beaten by
Charles Leclerc during qualifying, but also on Sunday the Dutchman could not match the pace of the
Ferrari driver. The race ended dramatically for Verstappen with his second retirement in three races, widening the gap to Leclerc in the championship. The Red Bull driver was clear about it after the race:
"What we need to do is make sure that we finish races."First GP of Australia since 2019
Still, it was a special weekend, as
Formula 1 returned to the Albert Park circuit for the first time since 2019. In a behind-the-scenes look at Red Bull, Verstappen and Perez talk about how it feels to be back at the revamped circuit with many enthusiastic fans.
"I'd rather fix a fast car than try and make a reliable, slow one fast," Horner told Sky Sports.
Well Max signed up to this ?
Maybe would be better for ORB to race with Merc engine?
There's nothing wrong with that statement. It's the truth.
