Lewis Hamilton has held his lead at the start of the
Belgian GP ahead of teammate
Valtteri Bottas.
Max Verstappen seemed to be able to attack
Valtteri Bottas towards Les Combes, but eventually had to defend his position against
Daniel Ricciardo. The Dutchman eventually managed to achieve third place, while many changes are taking place in midfield.
Charles Leclerc, among others, had a superstart, which was already in ninth place after the first round. The Ferrari driver clearly had a better start than his team mate, who was in thirteenth place after the first lap. The two Mercedes drivers were also close to each other, but in the end
Lewis Hamilton held on.
