Lando Norris was able to sit on the third step of the podium after the
Monaco Grand Prix. Thanks to the elimination of
Charles Leclerc and
Valtteri Bottas, he was able to cash in on his fifth starting position with a podium finish. This was the third podium of his career, which is also his best position to date. In Austria he finished third and after the Grand Prix at
Imola he was able to take third place as well.
From qualifying to third place
Daniel Ricciardo has been overshadowed by his younger teammate, but there's an explanation for that. Apart from Norris' good performance during the race, the entire build-up to this race in Monaco was already provided with a positive vibe. This is clearly reflected in the new
McLaren Unboxed video, which as always gives us a nice look behind the scenes.
From qualifying, we get to see a lot up to the climax and that is of course receiving the trophy. Afterwards, however, Norris wasn't finished yet, as he also had to take part in some media activities and photo sessions. Ricciardo on the other hand hardly appears in the video.
