BREAKING: Latest information on 2021 cars

The latest information on the 2021 cars has been revealed this morning. The wheelbase is set to be limited to 340cm which will result in shorter cars by around 20-30cm. Liberty Media and the FIA has also demonstrated that they are listening to fans' concerns by also increasing the fuel flow to 110kg/h, resulting in louder cars.

A large criticism of the current hybrid-era is the quiet cars compared to the previous eras of Formula One, the news will delight fans who had complained of underpowered and quieter cars.

The increase in fuel flow will result in more RPM being produced, up to 12,000 from the current 10,000, achieving a louder and better sounding engine. The amount of fuel allowed is set to be increased to an unlimited amount however teams will likely not use any more than 120kg of fuel due to the weight and reduction in pace it would cause.

The electrical power will also increase from 120kW (163hp) to 150kW (204hp) with the maximum electrical energy output also set to increase from 4MJ to 5MJ.
