Max Verstappen has been handed a three-place grid penalty for the Russian Grand Prix to add to his existing penalties. The Dutchman was deemed to have ignored yellow flags in Q1 being waved for Sergey Sirotkin's Williams, the Russian facing backwards after a spin in sector two.
As well as the grid penalty, Verstappen has also been given two penalty points on his license bringing him up to 7/12 for the 12 month period, five more would mean a race ban for the Red Bull driver.
