Mercedes will present the new F1 car for the 2025 season on Monday, February 24, as has just been announced by the German team. By the way, the new paintwork of the W16 will be revealed beforehand. This will take place on February 18, during the F1 event at London's O2 Arena.

The team of Andrea Kimi Antonelli and George Russell will not hold a press conference or live broadcast for the launch. On that Monday, the first images of the W16 will be shared through their own social media channels, one day before the car is found on the circuit for the first time.

Mercedes has already announced the shooting day

Mercedes has decided to hold a filming day the day before the start of the three-day test in Bahrain. These test days will be from February 26 to 28, meaning the filming day will be on February 25. Then, there will be a shakedown of the W16 to check if all systems are operating as expected.

In Bahrain, Mercedes hopes to see during the tests that the new car is a car with which it can at least compete for victories, something it has not been able to do consistently since the 2021 season.
