Oscar Piastri finished as the fastest driver during FP3. The
McLaren driver topped the timesheet with a 1:16.492. His teammate
Lando Norris finished closely behind with a 1:16.551.
Carlos Sainz rounded out the top three.
Max Verstappen could only manage P4 and was 0.511 behind Piastri.
It was a good session for McLaren, who took crucial momentum into qualifying. Meanwhile, Red Bull will look to make changes ahead of the session on Saturday afternoon.
Sergio Perez also had a hard time. The Mexican made mistakes in FP3 and finished P14.
Lewis Hamilton found a place inside the top five.
Charles Leclerc rounded out the top six. There was a place in the top ten for both
Visa Cash App RB drivers and
Kevin Magnussen also did well enough to secure 8th.
