With the eleventh qualifying session of the season behind us, it is time to take stock again. Who is outperforming their teammate and gaining on each other in the qualifying duels? And which teams are evenly matched?

Whereas some teams were somewhat evenly matched in the early stages of the season, this is no longer the case. Mercedes is currently the only team where both drivers seem to be evenly matched: George Russell holds a narrow lead after qualifying in Austria after both he and Lewis Hamilton crashed out in Q3.

For the rest, there are few surprises. Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris, among others, are increasing their lead over their teammates. Esteban Ocon is just a point down on Fernando Alonso, as is Lance Stroll on Sebastian Vettel.
