Rain and thunderstorms at the start of the race weekend in Italy

The Italian Grand Prix is just around the corner and the outlook for the race is sunny. Weather.com However, Weather.com is currently reporting that there could be rain on the Monza circuit for the first few days of the race weekend.

After the Grands Prix of Belgium and the Netherlands, the Italian GP is the third and final race in this Triple Header. Max Verstappen won the first two races and is the favourite in Italy. Despite the support of the Tifosi, it seems unlikely that Ferrari can come close to the RB18 at Monza.

Rain in Italy

What can still help Ferrari are changing conditions and these are currently on the schedule. Rain and thunderstorms are forecast from Wednesday to Saturday in and around Monza. The circuit will therefore be completely rinsed clean prior to the race weekend.

On Friday, according to Weather.com, it will be 26 degrees Celsius, there will be thunderstorms in the morning and an 86 percent chance of rain during the day. On Saturday, the chance of rain decreases slightly to 33 percent. The race looks to be dry and sunny for now. The temperature rises to 27 degrees, it will be mostly sunny and the chance of rain on the day of the race is only nineteen percent.
