On his week off from racing, Stake F1 team driver Valtteri Bottas took part in an insane challenge cycling across the Mediterranean Sea for 24 hours. The driver took to Instagram to share his experience.

How did Bottas cycle across the sea?

Bottas and a team of three completed a sea cycle in honour of The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, which focuses on preventing incidents through education about open water safety.

The driver and his team left Corsica on Friday morning and arrived 22 hours later in Monaco, having completed their journey on a water bike. The driver took to Instagram to share his epic photos.

Well, he has found something that he can do to take up his time, as we will likely not see him on the grid next year. Its good that F1 teams are hiring young drivers to be in their cars, rather than to be recycling veterans who have passed their used-by dates.
