A number of drivers put themselves in the limelight after fast laps during the test. Max Verstappen in his Red Bull Racing RB16B was the fastest of them all, dipping below the 1:29.000 mark. See the complete overview here.
Although many will say that the test times say nothing, it is always interesting to see who got more out of their car than others. For example, rookie Yuki Tsunoda is in a remarkable second place when it comes to fastest times. The Japanese driver was 0.093 seconds slower than Verstappen on the soft tyre.
At the bottom of the list we see a name that is not expected there. Sebastian Vettel set the twentieth fastest time, almost five full seconds slower than Verstappen. Williams' reserve driver Roy Nissany was the slowest of all.
