The first pole position of the season has fallen to Max Verstappen. The Red Bull Racing driver, along with his team-mate Sergio Perez, make up the front row of the grid on Sunday. Behind them, it is Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz on behalf of Ferrari who will be looking to open the attack at the Bahrain circuit.
Qualifying was wildly exciting, more exciting than most might have thought beforehand. The difference between Red Bull and Ferrari was minimal and behind them, it was Fernando Alonso who managed to secure fifth place. He cleverly managed to trump the Mercedes drivers. Lance Stroll, Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Ocon completed the top ten.
