Lewis Hamilton finished the qualifying session in Azerbaijan in the seventh position. After what Hamilton called a "really difficult qualifying session because we have been pushing". However, the seven-time world champion will look to bounce back in the race on Sunday.

Tricky and Chaotic Baku

Hamilton is looking forward to the race on Sunday, in what he describes as "tricky and chaotic. There is a lot that can happen. We are in the top 10."

Hamilton is still in the belief that the Mercedes has "a really small window where we can work this car and everything we try doesn't give us what we want. We have been making a lot of changes but we always come out with the same conclusion which is mostly bouncing which losses a lot of performance. Then all the performance is when you get the car low and we say let's take the beating on our backs and necks and get the car as low as possible to gain some more performance." The Brit complained to Sky Sports

Reponse to investigation

"You have to be within a delta time and I was within my delta. I wasn't below that out-lap pace. So, I was allowed to drive the pace I was and I was not holding back anyone." says the Briton, as well as claiming he was going slow because "I was trying to get a tow because we are so slow ion the straights, and the guys because didn't want to go by so I just went off and did my lap."
