Alfa Romeo has made a disappointing start to the season. The team is currently eighth in the constructors' championship, behind Haas, among others. Upgrades will be taken to the upcoming weekend in Imola, which should ensure improvements.

In the team s preview ahead of the Imola Grand Prix, team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi reveals that he expects an improvement in performance: "The home team in Hinwil has invested considerable time and resources into getting some important upgrades ready in time for this race and it will be crucial to evaluate them and extract the most out of them to gain some competitiveness."

Bottas and Zhou see progress

After a good weekend in Miami, which however failed to finish in the points, Valtteri Bottas hopes Alfa Romeo can improve again with the new upgrades: "We already showed some progress in Miami, where our single-lap pace was definitely better than in previous races, but there is still work to do. We must keep pushing forward, aiming to continue improving in both qualifying and the race.

Guanyu Zhou is also looking forward to the weekend, although he does not expect it to be easy: "It will be a tough challenge, as it always is, but we are confident and motivated to make a positive change and get back in the mix to battle for points on Sunday.
