Hamilton was allowed to start from sixth position for the sixth Grand Prix of this season, but after contact with
Kevin Magnussen on the opening lap he had to start all the way from the back. The Briton's W13 came alive, especially in the second half of the race. For a while, Hamilton was in fourth place, but due to temperatures rising too quickly in his car he had to let Sainz pass him again.
Max Verstappen did not have an easy afternoon either. He lost his second position in the race after a mistake in turn 4, but he managed to recover well. Despite a faltering DRS, the Dutchman came out on top again and takes his third win in a row in
Formula 1.
One of the other contenders might be
Fernando Alonso. In the competitive midfield, the two-time world champion managed to move up from last place to a neat ninth spot. Or was there another driver in your opinion even better this Sunday? Let us know!
