Qualifying for the
French Grand Prix is upon us and it looks set to be another exciting Saturday afternoon session in 2021. The Mercedes and
Red Bull Racing drivers look set to battle it out for pole position at Paul Ricard.

Who will be quickest?
The last two pole positions went, rather surprisingly, to
Charles Leclerc. In the streets of Baku and Monaco he set the fastest time twice in a session that ended with a red flag.
Today the battle will mainly be between the drivers of Mercedes and Red Bull.
Valtteri Bottas seems to be at ease in France, while
Max Verstappen put in a strong performance in free practice.
Lewis Hamilton should never be ruled out for pole position either.
The French in France
Pierre Gasly and
Esteban Ocon will be looking to score in front of their home crowd in France. Both Frenchmen have not yet had a great Grands Prix at Paul Ricard. Both the AlphaTauri and Alpine seem to be fast in 2021, so a good qualifying position should be possible.
