On Friday, the fourth season of Drive to Survive went online on Netflix. Max Verstappen no longer participates in the program because he thinks there is too much staging and things are twisted, and Lando Norris has agreed with the Dutchman.

Sly editing at Drive to Survive

To the Independent Norris let it be known that he was not happy with some scenes in the new season of Drive to Survive. The second episode of the season zooms in on McLaren and specifically on the rapport between Norris and his new teammate Daniel Ricciardo. According to Norris, the situation is not quite portrayed as it actually is.

Norris is particularly referring to a scene set during the Bahrain Grand Prix. "There's a shot of me and Daniel side by side in turn one when we're not even close and I'm claiming he's pushing me off, which is from a completely different race." This was exactly why Verstappen no longer wanted to participate in the series.

Several comments not in place

Norris says he still has no negative feelings about Drive to Survive, but feels that certain parts are a bit too much. He certainly doesn't agree with that. "From my side it looks good, but maybe not so much from Daniel's side. There are some comments here and there that might be out of place. It can make it seem like you said something at a time and place that is definitely not right."
