Oscar Piastri lead FP2 for the Bahrain Grand Prix from teammate Lando Norris and George Russell more than 5 tenths off the lead McLaren driver.
In the end, neither Max Verstappen nor George Russell, were a match for Piastri's and Norris' pace during FP2. Ferrari also proved to be well away despite Charles Leclerc using three sefts of softs to try and get as close to the McLarens as possible. Isack Hadjar, racing for Racing Bulls, even managed to pip Verstappen.
