Hamilton reacts to donation from Sky: 'Proud to be working for change'

Lewis Hamilton has looked back on the special collaboration between his foundation, Mission 44, and Sky Sports. In the winter it was announced that Sky would invest in the project of the seven-time world champion.
With Mission 44, Hamilton is targeting exclusion of black children in British schools. The Mercedes driver hopes that fewer black children will be rejected in the future, and in doing so he also looks to his own childhood. Also for Hamilton himself it was not easy to get where he is today, and he believes that everyone deserves equal opportunities.

In early 2022, it was announced by Sky that a donation would be made to Mission 44, with the two parties focusing on supporting innovation in schools to prevent exclusion, making the voices of excluded children heard and ensuring opportunities are created at Sky for 200 young people.
Although this news was announced back in early 2022, Hamilton has only now reacted to it on Twitter and Instagram. The Brit had disappeared from social platforms in early 2022 after the disappointment of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Now, however, he has found a moment to come back to it and say how proud he is.
So proud of this #Mission44 https://t.co/DiqLJiyUSn
