Another disappointing Quali for Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton failed to make it into Q3 for the second time in four races this season as he struggled in the rain in his Mercedes as the porpoising issues continue.
The British driver will be the first to admit that "It wasn't a great session, naturally it's disappointing." The seven-time world champion then adds that there was a bit of optimism going into the weekend and "everyone is working hard at the factory and things just don't come together it's disappointing. We underperformed as a team today."
Words with Toto
The British driver was caught on the television feed having some words with his team boss Toto Wolff, when asked in his interview with Sky Sports, this is what he had to say about it "It's internal stuff. I won't share that. We will just keep working. It is what it is."
Another rescue needed
Hamilton makes a pretty bold statement in which he claims "every weekend is a rescue" for his Brackley based team, and that the team has "things that we should have done that we didn't. We will do our best to fight back in the sprint race tomorrow and work our way forwards." As Hamilton will be looking to recover and improve across the rest of the season.
