Toto Wolff expects Mercedes to make quick strides in the coming Grands Prix to get close to Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. This coming weekend in Monaco, he once again wants to get everything out of it, he says in the Mercedes preview.
Thanks to updates, Mercedes managed to secure a podium finish with George Russell in Barcelona. "It was fantastic to see George battling with the Red Bulls to earn a well-deserved podium finish, while Lewis' fight back through the field from P19 to P5 was incredibly impressive," Wolff concluded.
The team boss is keen that this is not a one-off but wants to maintain and raise the level in the coming races. He thinks his team is ready for the GP in Monaco. "We've seen so far this year that anything can happen and we'll be looking to maximise every opportunity."
