Disqualification will follow if teams don't listen to FIA

Thursday night the FIA announced that it is going to take measures against the porpoising problems. The technical rules have been updated and all teams must comply with them starting this weekend in Canada. If racing teams do not, they will be disqualified.
So writes Auto, Motor und Sport on its website as an addition to the news that was previously brought out. That the FIA intervenes so quickly has everything to do with the safety situation.
At the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit the cars of all the teams will be inspected. The international motorsport federation will be taking measurements to find out how often and how hard a car bounces. As soon as the established upper limit is exceeded, the teams will be summoned to adjust the driving height. If they do not so, they will be disqualified and the weekend will be over.
Advantage or disadvantage Mercedes?
When the ride height of the cars is adjusted, the porpoising will decrease. However, this has a negative impact on the lap time. So the question is whether Mercedes will benefit from this 'technical directive'. The W13 of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell bounces the most of everyone in 2022 and so they may have to sacrifice the most in terms of ideal set-up.
